The Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees has announced that during February members made donations in excess of $30,000 to Feeding Pennsylvania to support its member food banks as they continue to face increased demand as a result of COVID-19.

These donations will be distributed amongst Feeding PA’s nine-member food banks which serve all 67 counties across the commonwealth.

This is only one of the many community service initiatives the PASR and its chapter associations from across Pennsylvania have engaged in to help communities.

Feeding Pennsylvania’s food banks have seen an alarming rise in demand for their services since the start of the pandemic.

Feeding Pennsylvania will continue to rely upon the generosity of donors, such as the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees, to support the crisis response across the state.
