Eugene “Bud” F. Kindt

Eugene “Bud” F. Kindt, 79, of Catasauqua, died March 31, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Margaret “Peg” R. Kindt for 55 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Eugene D. and Miriam E. (Schweitzer) Kindt.

He was a 1959 graduate of Catasauqua High School.

He was in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was a sewing machine mechanic for several garment companies including Regal Sportswear, Northampton, and Indigo Jeans, owned by Fernbrook Manufacturing in Lower Towamensing Township, for many years until he retired 2002.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Dee A. Kindt of Allentown; a son, Jeffrey D. and his wife Jenny of Whitehall; two sisters, Marlene Broderick and Carol Kindt, both of Catasauqua; nieces; and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.
