Shani Lynn Hohneck, of New Tripoli, graduated Aug. 21, 2020, from the University of Michigan with a Master of Science degree in dental hygiene education.

She graduated with a 4.0 and was inducted into the Sigma Phi Alpha National Dental Hygiene Honor Society in 2020.

Hohneck was registered in the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies of the University of Michigan from Sept. 4, 2018, to Aug. 21, 2020.

She is a professor of dental hygiene at Northampton Community College.
