Joseph J. Eder, 85, of Schnecksville, died March 21, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Sharlet M. (Cook) Eder.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Celia M. (Nickisher) Eder.

He was a 1954 graduate of Whitehall High School.

He was employed by H.T. Lyons for many years before he retired. He and his wife owned and operated the former Shar-Jo Specialties sports, hunting and fishing collectibles shop.

He was of the Catholic faith.

He was a member of Plumbers Local Union 690. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Bunker Hill Beagle Club, Lehigh Valley Trapshooting League and the Coplay Sportsman Club.

He is survived by two siblings, James J. Eder of Coplay and Barbara A. Turner of Schnecksville.

He was predeceased by a brother, Robert J. Eder.

Services will be private.
