James E. “Eamon” McPhillips, 60, of Macungie, died March 20, 2021. Born in Butlersbridge, Ireland, he was a son of Frances (McCaffrey) McPhillips and the late Edward McPhillips.

While living in Butlersbridge, he was a member of the family’s band, The McPhillips Group, in which he played the guitar.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was skilled in the art of glass blowing.

He is survived by his daughter, Kate, of Macungie; mother, of Butlersbridge, Ireland; brothers, Gerry (Lucy), of Cork, Ireland, Padraig, of Butlersbridge, Ireland; a sister, Bernadette (Jonathan), of Wexford, Ireland, former spouses, Jennifer E. DeFelice, of Macungie, Nancy Cassidy, of Macungie; a nephew; several nieces; furry kids, Fionn and Kelsey. He was predeceased by a sister, Martina Murray.
