Bath: Emmanuel’s plans Easter services

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, has announced its Holy Week schedule.

There will be two services March 28, Palm Sunday. A traditional service is set for 8 a.m., followed by a contemporary service 9:30 a.m. These services will be held online and in the church parking lot, broadcast on the FM transmitter. When you arrive, ushers will provide bulletins, communion cups and palms to each car.

There is an online worship service scheduled for 7 p.m. April 1, Maundy Thursday.

An online traditional Tenebrae service is set for 10 a.m., with a contemporary service 7 a.m. April 2, Good Friday.

The Easter Sunday services will be online and in the parking lot April 4, similar to Palm Sunday. Pastor Dan will be there live to read the Gospel, give his sermon and preside over communion. Everyone is asked to remain in their cars during the service, which will take place rain or shine.
