Ruben Acevedo, 70, of Bethlehem, died March 18, 2021, at St. Luke’s, Bethlehem. Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Agustine and Maria (Mendez) Acevedo.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

He was a laborer for W.R. Grace, Quakertown, until he retired.

He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Acevedo-DePinto (Cosmo); three siblings, Edward Acevedo (Sandra), Agustine Acevedo (Barbara) and Antonia Alicea; and three grandchildren, Giuliana, Arianna and Luca.

He was predeceased by four siblings, Martha Ramos, Minerva “Judy” Rosa, Angelo Acevedo and Pedro Acevedo.
