LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Picture days scheduled for Salisbury Elementary School

We made it to the spring time change. We are one step closer to spring. I am looking forward to the consistent, ever so slightly, warmer and longer days.

It is officially time to think about spring photos for those with students at Salisbury Elementary School. Face-to-face students will have picture day March 22, while those who remain virtual, or in VAST, will have their turn March 26. Please visit orders.christmascitystudio.com and enter school code SALES20 to place your order. There will be no traditional order form sent home this year, so remember this step if you want your school photos for this year.

March 25 will be the next SES Falcon proud T-shirt day. Make sure your shirt is ready to go.

An email was sent out to all parents with children in Salisbury Township schools regarding this year’s Pennsylvania System School Assessment testing. Make sure you read the email and refer to the appropriate contact person should you have any questions or concerns.

The Horizons for Youth summer enrichment program, for students in grades K-9, will return this year with more summer fun and learning opportunities. COVID-19 precautions will be in place and several options are available this year including half-day classes, full-day classes and online classes. Children will also be kept in similar groups to limit exposure and closure if necessary. Refer to the email sent out by the district for a link with more information.

For anyone still looking for last minute Girl Scout Cookie connections, check out https://www.gsep.org/en/cookies/find-cookies.html. Once the sale ends, you have to wait a whole year for more. I’m personally stocked on my thin mints and peanut butter patties (that may or may not be hidden in the freezer …. shhhh!).
