Weisenberg Township is partnership with Responsible Recycling Services to have an Electronics Recycling Day for township residents only with identification April 10 at the Weisenberg Fire Company, 2500 Golden Key Road.

This event will be held 9 a.m. to noon or until trucks are full.

Items that can be recycled free of charge include: desktop and laptop computers, DVD players and VCRs, keyboards and mice, gaming systems, printers and fax machines, string Christmas lights, cables and cords, microwaves and small appliances, cellphone and laptop batteries, metal items and water heaters, calculators and adding machines, exercise equipment, UPS battery backups, car batteries (sealed lead acid), toner and ink cartridges, bed frames and rain spouting, audio visual equipment, filing cabinets, and telephones and cellphones (remove batteries).

Participants must stay in their vehicles.

Only exact cash and checks in envelopes will be accepted.

Make checks payable to Responsible Recycling Services or RRS.
