Rosemarie “Tootsie” A. Grossbauer, 80, of Northampton, died Feb. 26, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Edward Grossbauer for 33 years.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late John and Theresa (Sabara) Nemeth.
She was an Allentown Central Catholic High School graduate.
She worked in the Northampton Area High School cafeteria for more than 30 years.
She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Rheiner and her husband John and Cathy Smith; three grandsons, Johnny, Luke and Eric; two brothers, Andrew and James Nemeth; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, Felix and John; two sisters, Anna Hacker and Theresa Yurastis.
There will be a Mass of Christian burial 10:30 a.m. March 5 at the church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Please practice social distancing and wear a face cover. The service will be livestreamed on the church’s YouTube channel.
