Earleen P. Costello, 89, of Coplay, died Feb. 20, 2021, at Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Albert M. Costello for 52 years.
Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Earle G. and Genevieve (White) Proctor.
She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and the Sacred Heart School of Nursing.
She worked as a registered nurse in the nursery at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown for more than 39 years, where she was privileged to assist with the births of each of her grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay, where she was an active volunteer and longtime member of the Altar & Rosary Society.
She is survived by three sons, A. Michael and his wife Deborah of Whitehall, James and his wife Regina of Bethlehem and David and his wife Deborah of Slatington; a daughter, Kathleen and her husband Harrison Litzenberger of Whitehall; six grandchildren, Mark, Kristin, Lisa, Kevin, Diana and Michael; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Joan C. Kunkle of Northampton; and two nieces, Karen and Lori.
She was predeceased by a brother, Earle G. Proctor Jr.; and a sister, Patricia A. Petrasovits.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
