Daniel A. Healy, BMCS (retired), 65, of Emmaus, died Feb. 23, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Maureen (Rush) Healy. They celebrated 44 years of marriage. Born in Jersey City, N.J., he was the son of the late Edwin and Katherine (Misuta) Healy.

He graduated from William L. Dickinson High School, Jersey City, N.J. and earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from Kutztown University.

He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 21 years until retiring.

He worked as a speech therapist for Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21, early intervention for five years.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Patricia and her husband, Keith Hugo and their children, Katherine and Jason; a son, Daniel and his wife, Natalie and their children, Christopher, Grace and Brayden; a sister, Corinne Griffin; brothers, Timothy and his wife, Maureen and Gerard and his wife, Susan.
