Scott S. Smith, 73, of Bethlehem Township, died Feb. 23, 2021,while in the care of St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus. Born in Los Angeles, California, he was a son of the late Lance Smith and Merry (Orbin) Chamley. He was the husband of Audrey (Holschwander) Smith for 50 years.

He attended Liberty HS.

He worked in the beam yards, ingot mold and coke works for Bethlehem Steel Corp. He worked for Just Born and was a prison guard at Northampton County Prison also.

He had memberships in various car clubs in the Lehigh Valley.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Scott S. II of Bethlehem Township; a daughter, Nicole Julian and her husband Brian of Easton; and three grandchildren, Luke Julian, Megan Smith and Jacob Smith.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
