LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Whitehall-Township Public Library: Reading program will end March 6

Don’t forget, the Whitehall Township Public Library adult winter reading program runs until March 6.

You may drop off your reading log at the curbside door, circulation desk or the yellow drop boxes. Make sure your name and phone number are on each sheet of the log.

Anyone who reads or listens to at least two books will win prizes. We cannot have a party this year, but you will be notified about prize pickup.

The 2021 winter basket raffle will be held March 8-19.

We will draw our winners March 20 and will call winners to let them know. If you win, you will have a week to pick up your basket.

Some of the baskets being prepared are baby baskets, winter cozy basket, “going to grandma’s house,” COVID-19 basket, book stacks, “Luck of the Irish,” plus many more. We are hoping to have 20-25 baskets on display on the tables inside the front door.

Thank you to all who have donated items, purchased tickets and supported the library.

All library items must be returned to the yellow book drops in the library parking lot. No items will be accepted at the front desk.

After items are returned, everything is quarantined for seven days, using the amnesty date as the check-in date. You’ll see the items listed in your account until then.

Fines are waived until March 31. Fines will be charged on items due before March 12, 2020.

Damaged and lost items will still be charged to the patrons’ accounts.
