Employees of Buckno Lisicky and Company recently donated $1,000 to the Starting Over Animal Rescue.
The company has a dress down day for a charity every Friday during which employees can donate $5 to dress down.
With participation in the Charity Dress Down Day, each employee can submit the name of a charity to receive the proceeds.
Sherry Sohaney of the Allentown office of Buckno Lisicky and Company was the winner and, after recently adopting a kitten from SOAR, Sohaney decided her charity was Starting Over Animal Rescue.
SOAR facilitates affordable spay/neuter and provides shelter to abused, neglected and abandoned animals.
