Ralf C. Grant, 69, of Macungie, died unexpectedly Jan. 28, 2021. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George J. and Sara E. (Harned) Grant.

He graduated from the East Penn School District in 1971.

He served in the United States Army in Germany from 1971 to 1973.

He worked for Pump Power & Air before starting his own business. He owned and operated West Wind Compressor Service.

He was a British car enthusiast and participated in many car shows along the East Coast. He was a member of the Morgans of Philadelphia. He also enjoyed hunting, tennis, ballroom dancing, skiing and RVing.

He was not one to shy away from a conversation. He loved meeting new people and telling stores.

He is survived by his daughter, Tara, of Colorado; companion, Kathleen Haentjens, of Sugarloaf; brothers, James (Honora), of Ohio, William (Teri), of Macungie, Alexander (Donna), of Wescosville; nieces; great-nieces; nephews; great-nephews; numerous friends; Kathleen’s children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, George and Robert.

A celebration of his life will be held by the family at a future date.
