Maurice W. Focht Jr., 93, of Emmaus, formerly of Slatington, died Jan. 26, 2021, in Lehigh Center. Born in Slatington, he was the son of the late Annie (Roberts) and Maurice W. Focht Sr.

He was a graduate of the former Slatington High School and the former Allentown Business College.

He honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean War.

He retired in 1983 after 30 years of loyalty and service to the former General Acceptance Corp./Finance America Corp. of Allentown.

He is survived by nephews, Dennis and Douglas; niece, Diann Nonnemacher; eight great-nieces and nephews and seven great-great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard.
