John E. Godiska, 69, died Jan. 15, 2021, at his home in Emmaus, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Karen A. (Moser) Godiska. They recently celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late John E. and Emily (Oscavich) Godiska.
He did residential and commercial construction, worked at Valley Memorial for many years and later had his own knife and tool sharpening business in Emmaus.
He attended Chestnut Hill UCC in Coopersburg.
He is survived by his wife; sons, John D., and his wife, Christina, of Coopersburg, Chad A. and his wife, Jennifer, of Coopersburg and Nathan A. and his fiancée, Erin Forshey, of Macungie; a brother, David, of Whitehall; a sister, Lori Erney, of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Sarah, Ava, Austin and Cameron; great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Holden; step-grandchildren, Corinna and Elliana.
