Whitehall High School counseling department continues to support students virtually and in person during this 2020-21 school year. WCSD has streamlined processes to ensure students can access the counselor safely in person and through Google Suite, the counseling website, email, Google Meet, Zoom and by phone. Staff members are also maintaining the counseling Twitter, as well as the website, to communicate news and information.

There has been increased contact with parents to ensure students are transitioning well to this new learning model and also to connect with families.

The kindergarten registration process for enrolling eligible children for the 2021-22 school year is underway. The child must be 5 years old before Sept. 1. Parents/guardians may begin the process at this time. The registration process will be done entirely online this year.

Here are the steps to registering your child. Visit whitehallcoplay.org and click on Enrollment. Follow all directions to complete the online registration, including uploading all required documents. You will receive an email from Michelle Khouri, district registrar, confirming your child’s registration or requesting other information. Required documents for kindergarten registration include proof of birth (your child’s birth certificate, passport, baptismal certificate or notarized parent statement); your child’s immunization record; proof of residency (if you rent, your signed lease agreement or if you own, your deed or 2021 real estate tax bill); Whitehall/Coplay moving permit or 2020 per capita tax bill; current utility bill, bank statement or billing statement; and parent photo identification.
