Clarissa Isabel Colson, 22, of Kutztown, died suddenly and unexpectedly Jan. 22, 2021. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Stephen Colson, husband of Michelle L. (Doyle) Colson, of Allentown and Diana C. (Green) Shook, companion of Ricky L. Sterner, of New Tripoli.
She was a 2017 graduate of Parkland High School and worked as a cashier at the Bandit Truck Stop, New Smithville.
She loved to draw and be creative and had an appreciation for all genres of music. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her parents; siblings, Ashley M. Merkel, companion of Rory L. Geisinger, of Shoemakersville, Dustin T. and his wife, Alexis N. (Squitier) Merkel, of Shartlesville, Nathanel S., of Fort Bragg, N.C., Travis R., of Shartlesville, Cheyanna L. Conklin, fiancée of Anthony Collazo, of Macungie, Augustus M. Conklin, fiancé of Sarah Muffley, of Allentown, Madison P. Conklin, of Allentown, Jalynn S., of Allentown, Landon R., of Allentown, Keegan B., of Allentown and Taylor, of the Pocono area; paternal grandparents, Richard Sr. and Sharon L. (Townsend), of Macungie; a niece, Jocelynn Dietrich; nephews, Cooper Merkel, Braxton Merkel and Ryland Geisinger; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Valoris T. and Annie (Taylor) Green.
