Simple assault

Marquel Sheffield, 24, of Emmaus, was arrested Jan. 15 for alleged simple assault, harassment and driving while under suspension following an incident in the unit block of South 10th Street, according to Emmaus police. Sheffield was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.

James Warren Wahl, 55, of Emmaus, was arrested Jan. 17 for alleged simple assault and harassment following an incident in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, according to Emmaus police. Wahl was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.

Possession of a small amount of marijuana

Todd A. Heiserman, 51, of Emmaus, was arrested Dec. 4, 2020, for alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana in the 100 block of Ridge Street, according to Emmaus police.

DUI

A 59-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested Jan. 13 for allegedly driving under the influence, careless driving and driving while uninsured in the 500 block of Broad Street, according to Emmaus police. He was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center.

Protection from abuse violation

A 55-year-old male, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was arrested Jan. 16 for an alleged violation of a protection from abuse order, according to Emmaus police. The male was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.

A 61-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested Jan. 17 for an alleged violation of a protection from abuse order, according to Emmaus police.

Theft

A propane gas grill, valued at $200, was removed from a location in the 100 block of Main Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Jan. 9.

Found item

A diamond ring was found Jan. 14 in the 200 block of Main Street, according to Emmaus police. The ring is stored at the Emmaus Police Department headquarters, 400 Jubilee St.
