Goodbye 2020!

Now that 2020 is over,

Where do we go from here?

Let’s kick 2020 out the door,

And welcome a brighter new year.

We greatly suffered from COVID-19,

And all the heartache it brought;

Let’s hope for a healthier new year,

And, the peace we so anxiously sought.

It won’t be easy to move on;

Many people are still very sick,

Let’s do our best to keep things safe,

And pray they recover real quick.

Give kudos to all first responders,

For all that they had to endure;

They risked their lives to keep everyone safe,

And saved many lives, for sure!

For all of those who have left us,

Our blessings to those left behind;

Those who have passed will live in our hearts,

And forever be on our minds.

Welcome 2021!

We have been waiting for you!

Bring us your best of intentions,

Destroy all the virus out there;

Let us move on with peace in our hearts,

And hope for a better new year!
