Judith Mae (LeVan) Ruch, 81 of Ballietsville died Dec. 28, 2020, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.

She and her loving husband, Leonard, shared more than 60 years of marriage.

Born Nov. 23, 1939, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Mearle (Slough) Heller and Kermit LeVan.

A graduate of Allentown High School, she was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 50 years, where she served as Worthy Matron of the former Jessie K. Berlin O.E.S. and District Deputy Grand Matron.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed cheering on her Philadelphia sports teams and, in recent years, doting on her great-nephew, Alex.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by nephew James LeVan II; niece Jill LeVan; great-nephew Alex; sisters-in-law Lucia LeVan, Edna Eck, Lottie Gessner, Linda Hyrowich and Eleanor Kressley.

She was predeceased by her brother James LeVan.

Her service will be private. There will be no calling hours.
