A. My family includes myself, my father, David, my mother, Linda and my younger brother, Cameron.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. Chemistry is my favorite subject because it is straightforward and organized, but also challenges me. I have also had amazing chemistry teachers that have made the subject enjoyable.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. This tennis season I was granted the honor of receiving the Colonial League Coach’s Sportsmanship Award. In past seasons I have also received the Colonial League Honorable Mention Award.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has COVID-19 impacted these activities?

A. I participate in girls tennis, girls basketball, National Honor Society, Key Club, G.I.V.E. and Best Buddies. I am also treasurer of Student Advisory and the Business Club. COVID-19 has impacted these extracurricular activities by making it a requirement to wear masks and social distance as much as possible during sports. As for clubs, all of our meetings are held via Zoom. However, this has not stopped these extracurriculars from doing fun and creative events.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. Tennis has been a big challenge in my life. It not only tests your physical strength, but it also tests your mental strength. Playing has taught me sometimes your biggest competitor is yourself and once you get past that, you gain a toughness in you that applies to every aspect of life.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A I would like to be remembered as an optimistic person who always treated people with kindness.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A. I admire both of my parents greatly because of the way they carry themselves in any situation. They are hardworking, respectful and caring to others. They have helped shape me into the person I am today and I will forever be grateful.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. My advice for my peers would be to live in the moments and laugh a lot in life; doing both will lead you to lots of happiness.
