Santa Claus is coming to town 2-4 p.m. Dec. 19.

The Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department will escort him down the country roads as he looks forward to greeting everyone along the way.

Check the Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page and/or the Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department website for all the details and the route so you won’t miss out on seeing this famous person.

Wreaths Across America will be held at two locations - Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, and Weisenberg Lutheran Church (at the cemeteries), 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, Weisenberg Township - to honor and remember the men and women who served our country.

The event teaches children about the cost of our freedom and those who protected and continue to protect it.

Both services will start noon Dec. 19.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Hope Community Church, 7974 Claussville Road, Fogelsville, will host a free drive-through Nativity 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, 12, 18 and 19.

A CD will be available to use as you drive through and view the scenes.

The Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society has its WLTHS Lending Library ready for community readers.

Borrow a book, return it and leave another one behind or keep it to read again.

The library is located on the front porch of the Historical Society, 4585 Werleys Corner Road, Weisenberg Township.

Donations are welcome, so place the phone call to make arrangements.

You do not have to be a member to enjoy the library.
