Walter M. Zmarzley, 91, of Northampton, died Nov. 17, 2020, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Betty L. (Hartzell) Zmarzley.

Born in Kreidersville, he was a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Caroline (Ferenc) Zmarzley.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a steelworker for many years.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Gail Kucherich and her husband Thomas; two granddaughters, Rachel Goletz and her husband Greg and Melissa Kucherich; a great-granddaughter, Penelope; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by eight brothers, John, Chester, Edward, Stanley, Louis, Joseph Jr., Victor and Leon; and a sister, Stella Babich.
