Helmuth “Helly” L. Schrettner, 93, of Whitehall, died Nov. 18, 2020, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Catherine E. (Schandl) Schrettner for 63 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Anthony and Stella (Mild) Schrettner.

He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was a longtime account manager for Breyers Ice Cream and Kraft Foods until he retired in 1989.

He is survived by a daughter, Edie Aguila and her husband Tali of Allentown; a son, David G. and his wife Cheryl of Emmaus; three grandchildren, Stacy, Jacob and Colton; a great-granddaughter, Kasey; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Erna Matsco and infant Margaret; and nine brothers, Tony, John, Alfred and Walter and infants Robert, Emil, William, Joseph and Edward.
