Allentown mayor presents proclamation to National Society DAR Liberty Bell Chapter

The Liberty Bell Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Allentown, was honored in September to receive a Constitution Week Proclamation from Mayor Ray O’Connell on the 233rd anniversary of the signing of the Constitution by 39 Patriots which took place on Sept. 17, 1787.

Reading from the proclamation, O’Connell officially proclaimed Sept. 17-23 as Constitution Week in Allentown.
