Marion I. Darkes Weida, 94, formerly of Whitehall and Orefield, died Nov. 10, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Charles G. Weida and the late Carl J. Darkes.

Born in Andreas, she was a daughter of the late William and Lizzie (Longacre) Boyer.

She was a sewing machine operator at the former Nanette Manufacturing, Allentown, and the former Ironton Fashions, for a combined total of 25 years.

She was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.

She was a member of the former Schnecksville Grange 1684.

She is survived by three children, Sara B. Ziegler with Kenneth of North Port, Fla., Carolyn D. Riddle with David of Whitehall and Carl J. Darkes II of Kernersville, N.C.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be private.
