Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be collecting mittens, hats, gloves and scarves for the students of Bethlehem Area School District.

These students can range from kindergartners through seniors, so all sizes will be accepted.

The items should not be wrapped.

Due to the unusual circumstances, the church will not be putting up mitten trees this year. Instead, there will be labeled bins available in the fellowship hall and upstairs gathering area. There will also be a bin in the vestibule area outside the downstairs parlor.

The deadline for donations is Dec. 6.
