Apple came to the Sanctuary at Haafsville as a stray. Apple was really having a tough time adjusting to shelter life but is getting better with all the attention she gets. Apple is learning to trust and is ready for a furever home where she can spend the rest of her golden years. A quieter home with no children would be recommended for her. Apple is approximately 12 years old and about 6 pounds. This spunky girl still loves to play fetch with toys.

Jersey has such a sweet smile. This pretty girl is a Lab/Pit mix, housebroken, approximately 6 years old and about 90 pounds. She does need to lose a few pounds, so an active family willing to help her with this would be great. She is a little more nervous around men than women. Jersey was never in a home with cats. When cat tested, she seemed curious and unsure but showed no aggression, however, she may chase. If there are other dogs in the home a meet-and-greet will need to be arranged.
