Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

OCT. 1

A traffic stop was conducted at East 21st Street and Northampton Avenue.

In the 2200 block of Washington Avenue, a disturbance was investigated.

Police responded to a theft in the 800 block of Washington Avenue. A lawn mower was taken from the backyard of a residence. The person who allegedly took the lawn mower was described as driving a tan Ford Ranger.

OCT. 2

Domestic disputes between a male and a female took place in the 2200 block of Washington Avenue and in the 100 block of West 14th Street.

A report of garbage dumped in the backyard of a residence in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue was investigated.

At Lerchenmiller Drive and Smith Lane, a juvenile issue occurred.

In the 400 block of East Eighth Street, officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.

OCT. 3

Reports of disturbances at West 14th and Vienna streets, on West 21st Street and in the 1000 block of Main Street were investigated.

Police checked on the welfare of males in the 1600 block of Laubach Avenue and in the 2000 block of Center Street.

Juvenile problems took place on West 10th Street and in the 1700 block of Newport Avenue.

A noise complaint of fireworks in the 1700 block of Main Street was reported.

OCT. 4

Traffic stops were conducted at Canal and West 21st streets and in the 100 and the 1700 blocks of Main Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 900 block of Main Street.

An unattended death was investigated in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

In the 1300 block of Stewart Street, police responded to a neighbor issue.

OCT. 5

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 1700 block of Main Street.

Officers assisted the fire department in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

In the 1500 block of Washington Avenue, officers investigated a report of fireworks.

A report of harassment by communication - texting and phone calls - in the 300 block of East Eighth Street was filed with the department.

OCT. 6

Suspicious activity in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue was reported.

OCT. 7

Criminal mischief at 1910 Center St. was reported.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

A domestic dispute between a male and a female took place in the 100 block of West 14th Street.

OCT. 8

A domestic dispute between a male and a female took place in the 100 block of West 27th Street.

In the 1300 block of Main Street, police responded to a report of a suspicious male.

Suspicious activity in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue was reported.

Harassment in the 100 block of Held Drive was investigated.

A juvenile problem in the 100 block of West 14th Street was filed with the department.

Police said a hit and run occurred in the 1300 block of Stewart Street. A legally parked vehicle was sideswiped, damaging the driver-side front and back door.

A disturbance took place in the 1400 block of Washington Avenue.

OCT. 9

In the 500 block of East 10th Street, officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle.

Officers responded to a domestic dispute between a male and a female in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue.

Suspicious activity in the 2400 block of Main Street was reported.

A noise complaint of fireworks in the 1300 block of Vienna Street was filed with the department.

OCT. 10

At West 26th and Main streets and in the 1700 block of Main Street, traffic stops were conducted.

Police assisted Lehigh Township police in the 100 block of West 27th Street.

A domestic dispute between a male and a female occurred in the 2000 block of Laubach Avenue.

In the 1300 block of Newport Avenue, a hit and run took place. A legally parked vehicle was struck.

A suspicious male in the 1400 block of Railroad Street was reported.

A hit and run occurred in the 400 block of East 11th Street. A legally parked vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer turning from Siegfried Avenue, damaging the rear end.

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

OCT. 11

Criminal mischief - a broken garage window - in the 500 block of East 11th Street was reported.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 1600 block of Canal Street.

In the 1700 block of Canal Street, officers investigated a report of theft. A 10-by-10 easy-up canopy, six 100-foot extension cords, a black and white checkered outdoor mat and a water jug were taken from the front yard of a residence.

A report of a vehicle egged in the 2400 block of Main Street was filed with the department.

Police responded to a disturbance in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue.

In the 900 block of Siegfried Avenue, a domestic dispute between a male and a female took place.

Suspicious males in the 2000 block of Main Street were reported.

OCT. 12

At Main and East 19th streets, a noise complaint of fireworks was investigated.

In the 1700 block of Main Street, members of the department responded to a report of harassment.

Criminal mischief - a sun roof taken from a vehicle - in the 1600 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

The department said a civil matter occurred in the 500 block of Washington Avenue.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 1800 block of Main Street.

OCT. 13

Officers assisted the fire department with a fire call in the 1300 block of Main Street.

A domestic dispute between a male and a female took place in the 1500 block of Main Street.

Police assisted Northampton County constables in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue.

In the 100 block of West 16th Street, a hit and run to a legally parked vehicle occurred. There was damage to the driver-side quarter panel and mirror, the report said.

OCT. 14

A complaint of trash dumped on a property in the 1300 block of Railroad Street was investigated.

In the 1500 block of Railroad Street, officers responded to a report of loud music.
