Theft of vehicle

Cheyonia M. Wade, 36, of Allentown, was taken into custody for alleged theft of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer and related charges after she allegedly took a vehicle from a parking lot at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:47 p.m. Oct. 7, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Wade allegedly got into the driver’s seat when the driver exited the vehicle, locked the doors and drove away. The vehicle was spotted within minutes near the intersection of Brookside Road and Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township and the driver fled from police. The vehicle was stopped on U.S. Route 222 North near the Interstate 78 East on-ramp. Wade was taken to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Harassment

A 25-year-old female and her 20-year-old brother allegedly shoved each other during an argument at a residence in the 1000 block of Pine Grove Circle, Lower Macungie Township, 12:24 p.m. Sept. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Both siblings were charged with harassment.

Retail theft

Dariana Mccann, 21, of Jersey City, N.J., allegedly worked with another person to remove nine items, with a total value of $1,452, from the bedding section at Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 6:09 and 6:19 p.m. Sept. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 36-year-old female, of Breinigsville, allegedly removed $102 in merchandise, including baby formula and a Harry Potter themed Lego toy, from Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:55 p.m. Oct. 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The female allegedly used a self-checkout terminal to underring the items.

DUI

Tony Alonzo Queen, 36, of Alburtis, allegedly was driving under the influence when the sport utility vehicle he was driving hit a directional road sign, a concrete traffic island and a metal pole in a one-vehicle accident near the intersection of Congdon Hill Drive and Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:17 a.m. Sept. 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Queen was southbound on Spring Creek Road approaching Congdon Hill Drive at the time of the accident. Queen was hurt in the crash and was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, by Macungie EMS. Getz Towing also responded.

A 55-year-old male, of Bethlehem, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence of suspected methamphetamine and pain medication after state troopers found a vehicle in a front yard of a residence in the 1500 block of Blue Church Road, Lower Milford Township, 12:17 p.m. Aug. 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The male allegedly admitted to illicit drug use and exhibited signs of a possible overdose. The male was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital for an evaluation.

A 20-year-old male, of Emmaus, was hurt when his vehicle struck a concrete barrier against a bridge in the 2500 block of Riverbend Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:08 p.m. May 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The driver was eastbound when he missed a curve and hit the barrier. The vehicle then went down an embankment and into the water. The driver, who allegedly was driving under the influence, was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital. Macungie EMS and Getz Towing also responded to the accident scene.

A 46-year-old male, of Macungie, allegedly was driving under the influence when his vehicle overturned and landed in a creek in the 2500 block of Riverbend Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:57 p.m. Sept. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Troopers responded to the accident scene after receiving a call about the accident. The male was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment of possible minor injuries. Yocum’s Towing and Recovery also responded. The male allegedly was found to have a small amount of marijuana in his possesssion.

A 27-year-old male, of Reading, allegedly was driving under the influence when he swerved off the road, striking a tree and fence, in a one-vehicle rollover accident along Church View Road, Lower Milford Township, 8:47 p.m. Aug. 9, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was westbound, nearing Chestnut Hill Church Road. Firefighters extricated the driver from the vehicle. Mechanics Plus also responded to the accident scene.

Vanessa Rosario Mateo, 33, of Emmaus, allegedly was driving while under the influence along South 10th Street, Emmaus Borough, 2:30 a.m. Sept. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft from vehicle

A front bumper was removed from a 2010 Acura TSX in the 4900 block of Cypress Street, Lower Macungie Township, between 2 a.m. and noon Oct. 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
