Catasauqua: Octoberfest food event planned for Oct. 16, 17 at St. Mary’s

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 122 Union St., will hold a modified version of its annual Octoberfest event 5-8 p.m. Oct. 16 and 4:30-8 p.m. Oct. 17 on the parish grounds.

This year’s Octoberfest O’ Food will be different - with no seating, no music and no beverages.

All your favorite homemade food will be prepared by the St. Mary’s cooks. It will be sold from the parking lot and packaged for takeout as ordered.

The menu will include roasted pulled pork sandwiches, smoked sausage sandwiches, bratwurst sandwiches and hot dogs, as well as potato pancakes, pierogies, German potato salad, cabbage and spaetzle, spaetzle with butter or gravy and funnel cake.

Mandates for mask wearing and social distancing will be enforced.

For information, prices and more, check out the parish webpage at annunciationbvm.net, email kim.stmarys122@gmail.com or call 610-264-0332.
