Salisbury High School open house Oct. 1

Salisbury High School will hold a virtual open house 7:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 1. Refer to the email sent for the link to the events.

Don’t forget to pick up your free meals 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 5-7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays for all students at Salisbury Elementary School or Salisbury Middle School. All students are eligible to receive these free meals through Dec. 31. Don’t pass up this opportunity.

The Salisbury Athletic Booster Club is holding a Falconwear sale online. Visit https://falconsfall20.itemorder.com/sale to place your order (the link is clickable on the live feed at salisburysd.org). The order deadline is Oct. 5.

The Salisbury Athletic Booster Club clothing drive date has been postponed by request of the pickup company due to the warehouse being full right now. The new date will be Nov. 21. Take the extra time to go through the closet more closely for any items you would like to donate. For a list of accepted items, check out www.clothingdrive.net.

Salisbury Township has approved holding trick or treat in the township 6-8 p.m. Oct. 30. For those who want to trick or treat, you are asked to maintain social distancing and wear a mask (so make it a fun or scary one!). If you are choosing not to venture out and would like to participate, leave your light on and I’m sure you will have plenty of ghosts and goblins stop by. Remember to have fun and be safe.

The Salisbury Township drop-off centers continue to be open on alternating weeks. The Franko Farm site will be open the week of Oct. 4 and the Devonshire site will be open the week of Oct. 11. Hours continue to be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and Saturdays.
