Local student initiates archery program

The Izaak Walton Rod and Gun Club, 2181 Wehr Mill Road, South Whitehall, held a charity archery shoot Sept. 5.

The program was initiated by Riley Knecht, a freshman at Salisbury High School.

Knecht is also Miss Mid Atlantic in the American Beauties Pageant and is on her way to compete in the national event.

The mantra of American Beauties is “Crowned to Serve.”

Knecht uses her talents as a competitive archer to spread her message of service to families in need.
