The annual fall Scholastic book fair will be held Oct. 12-25. This year’s theme is “Time Machine: Reading Can Take You Anywhere!”

The fair has a virtual option that includes a 360-degree tour available at scholastic.com/bf/sheckler. Shop from the site with the same exclusive titles as the in-school fair and have orders shipped directly to your home.

Available via Google Classroom, virtual students can now begin every morning just as those students inside the classroom.

Contactless curbside pickup for school breakfast and lunch for Catasauqua Area School District students learning from home and residents aged 18 and under will occur 9:45-10:15 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in front of Sheckler Elementary.

On Tuesdays, two days worth of meals will be handed out, and on Thursdays, three days worth of meals will be handed out. There will be a total of five days worth of meals offered, all at no cost.

Students need not be in the car during pickup, but drivers will be asked to verify the names and ages of the children. Please arrive with a clean vehicle trunk. Walk-ups will be accommodated.
