CMS News: Book fair continues through Sept. 24

The virtual Scholastic book fair at Catasauqua Middle School continues until Sept. 24.

Orders will be delivered to your home. Take advantage of free shipping on book-only orders of more than $25.

CMS is taking part in the Weis 4 Schools Program.

The next time you go shopping at Weis Markets, bring the flier that was sent home with your student and scan the bar code on the bottom to register your Weis Club Card. You only need to register once. There are extra fliers at the school.

The Giant A+ Rewards program we participated in the past several years has been discontinued.

Due to COVID-19, CMS is utilizing QR codes. Anyone visiting the school must scan the code at the door to fill out an electronic visit form.

Once the form has been submitted, ring the bell and let the office know you completed the form and someone there will be able to assist you.

***

Contactless curbside pickup for school breakfast and lunch for Catasauqua Area School District students learning from home and residents aged 18 and under will occur 9:45-10:15 a.m. each weekday in front of Sheckler Elementary School.

Students need not be in the car during pickup, but drivers will be asked to verify the names and ages of the children. Please arrive with a clean vehicle trunk. Walk-ups will be accommodated.

The schedule is subject to change.

***

Make sure you are regularly checking the school’s website and Facebook page for updates and changes.

***

All parents/guardians should do a temperature check on their children before leaving for school each day. Any child with a temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms should not report to school.
