Lucille M. Snyder, 90 from Schnecksville, died on Aug. 31, 2020, in Fellowship Community, Whitehall.

Born March 16, 1930, in Laurys Station, she was the daughter of the late Warren L. and Minerva S. (Shankweiler) Mantz.

She and her husband, William C. Snyder, were married for 68 years on Jan. 12.

A 1948 graduate and valedictorian of her class at the former South Whitehall Township High School, she was a bench hand for the former Western Electric/Lucent Technologies, Allentown, for 22 years before retiring.

She was a long time member of the Telephone Pioneers and a former member of the mixed bowling league.

An animal lover, this was evident with all the feline and fido companions she had throughout her years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Gregory D. Snyder and wife, Lynn, of Macungie; daughter Debra Berresford of Whitehall; brother Ramon Mantz and wife, Elizabeth, of Macungie; an aunt, Edith Foster, of Laurys Station; grandchildren Jenna Snyder, and Adam Berresford and wife, Amanda; and a great-grandson, Liam.
