Walla Gazoo adjusts to pandemic

The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce’s annual Walla Gazoo golf tournament was held at the Bethlehem Golf Club Aug. 17 with 100 golfers participating. COVID-19 restrictions limited the number of golfers, and Angela DelGrosso, senior vice president of the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, said it was “maxed out.” Walla Gazoo is recognized as the longest running golf tournament in the area, according to DelGrosso. Sponsorships provided both face masks and hand sanitizer for golfers in order to meet COVID-19 restrictions. Upon completion of their round of golf, participants enjoyed a backyard BBQ to go and the award ceremony was live streamed.
