District Attorney Jim Martin and Allentown Police Chief Glenn Granitz Jr. have announced that an Allentown man is charged with the rape of a child.

Adrian Isaiah Villanueva-Pabon, 21, is charged with Rape of a Child Under 13, a felony of the first degree; and Statutory Sexual Assault of a Victim under the age of 16, four years older than the victim; a felony of the second degree.

The case was investigated by Allentown Police Detective Raymond T. Ferraro.

The investigation began April 24, 2020, when police were notified of a report made via Child Line, a hotline to report suspected child abuse, about a 13-year-old girl who had recently given birth.

Police say the girl was age 12 at the time of the sexual offense in August 2019. An investigation determined Villanueva-Pabon was the father of the newborn.
