JULY 7

In the 1300 block of Newport Avenue, a domestic dispute between a male and a female took place.

A hit-and-run accident in the 900 block of Main Street was reported. A legally parked vehicle was struck. A witness saw a small black SUV hit another vehicle and leave the scene, turning onto the Coplay-Northampton Bridge into Coplay.

A harassment case in the 1600 block of Main Street was investigated.

Officers responded to a neighbor complaint in the 1300 block of Stewart Street.

JULY 8

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police at East First and Main streets.

A disturbance in the 1800 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

In the 2000 block of Center Street, a legally parked vehicle was struck by a gold Jeep during a hit and run. Officers located the offending vehicle.

Police investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of West 26th Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of a male on West 21st Street.

JULY 9

A domestic dispute between two males and a female took place in the 600 block of East 21st Street.

Members of the department said a civil matter occurred in the 1300 block of Stewart Street.

Disturbances took place in the 300 block of Adaire Court and in the 1700 block of Main Street.

Officers responded to a neighbor complaint in the 800 block of Main Street.

JULY 10

An intoxicated male in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue was reported.

A report of an unwanted person in the 1600 block of Canal Street was investigated.

A custody issue in the 100 block of Jeffrey Lane brought police to the scene.

In the 1300 block of Stewart Street, a neighbor issue was investigated.

JULY 11

A civil matter was investigated in the 1200 block of Newport Avenue.

Criminal mischief - a legally parked vehicle egged - in the 700 block of Dewey Avenue occurred.

In the 1800 block of Washington Avenue, a domestic dispute between a male and a female took place.

A report of threats received by voicemail in the 300 block of Adaire Court was filed with the department.

A child custody issue was investigated in the 1400 block of Poplar Street.

Neighbor complaints in the 1300 block of Stewart Street and in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue were reported.

In the 2300 block of Washington Avenue, a report of a juvenile issue was investigated.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue.

JULY 12

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue and at Center and West 19th streets.

In the 100 block of West 14th Street, in the 2200 block of Hokendauqua Avenue and in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue, reports of juvenile issues were investigated.

A neighbor problem took place in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue.

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 900 block of Washington Avenue.

JULY 13

The unauthorized use of vehicle by a known person in the 1600 block of Canal Street occurred.

Officers checked on the welfare of females in the 2400 block of Main Street and in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

In the 800 block of Main Street, a civil issue was investigated.

A disturbance in the 2000 block of Main Street was reported.

At Lincoln Avenue and East 21st Street, a traffic stop was conducted.

JULY 14

Police assisted a Northampton County constable in the 300 block of East 10th Street and in the 1800 block of Washington Avenue.

A civil matter occurred in the 100 block of West 17th Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of females in the 500 block of Apple Street and in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue and a male at East Ninth and Main streets.

In the 1900 block of Main Street, a report of a custody issue was investigated.

An animal case - dogs barking - in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue was reported.
