Geraldine (Kerchner) Fenstermaker, 80, died Aug. 13, 2020. “Deanie” was a resident of Egg Harbor City, N.J., for over 60 years. She was the wife of the late Harry E. Fenstermaker.

Born in Allentown, she was a graduate of Emmaus High School and later achieved an associate degree at Atlantic Community College.

She truly loved her town and over the years was active in the Kiwanis of Egg Harbor City, the Egg Harbor City Historical Society, the Moravian Church of Egg Harbor City as well as at times substitute teaching in Egg Harbor City schools and working in the school library. She was an honorary lifetime member of the NJ PTA and its 25-year group.

She is survived by a daughter, Joanne (Michael) Salonish, of Marriottsville, Md.; granddaughter, Katelyn Salonish, of Williamsburg, Va.; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. Aug. 20 with a service to begin noon. A graveside service will follow at Northwood Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
