Parents Melissa Leo and Karin Kao approached fourth grade teachers Kristy Wied and Jenny Hur to see if something could be done. A small ceremony was held Aug. 3 on the steps of Western Salisbury Elementary School, now closed, to promote the students to fifth grade and Salisbury Middle School.
