Edward Sherman, 76, of Bethlehem and formerly of Allentown, died July 31, 2020, at ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Edgar Sherman and the late Rose (Adams) Sherman.

He worked in the maintenance department of the former Cross Country Clothes for five years until he retired in 1989.

Hhe was a long-time member of Jordan Evangelical Lutheran Church, Orefield.

He is survived by two sisters, Janet A. Eckhart and Betty Lou Whitaker, both of Northampton; sices; and nephews. a son, Jeffrey Steiner of Coplay; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Joyce Long and Dorothy Ruth.

Services will be private.
