PRESS PHOTOS BY PAUL FOX Floodwaters from the neighboring creek breach the municipal pool at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St., Aug. 4, when Tropical Storm Isaias delivered nearly 5 inches of rain and high winds to the area.

The Catasauqua Creek rises toward the underside of the bridge. Borough and county personnel spent much of the day responding to emergencies related to the storm.

The creek eventually overflows and spills across East Wood Street in Catasauqua. The storm caused road closures and property damage all across the Valley.
