Orders for the Hope Lutheran Church youth group candy sale are due by Aug. 1.

Orders can be placed at forms.gle/3fXazZunztPVVbNY7 or by calling the church office at 610-767-7203.

Pickup is 8:30 a.m. Aug. 16 at the church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville.

Masks are highly recommended.

Cash and checks, made payable to Hope Lutheran Church, will be accepted as payment.

The Lehigh Township Historical Society is holding a takeout barbecue dinner noon-4 p.m. Aug. 15.

Dinners include either roasted chicken or a pulled pork sandwich, baked potato, coleslaw, roll and butter, a choice of an additional side of applesauce or baked beans and dessert.

Dinners are being prepared by Lorah’s Pig Roasters and Farm Market.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the Hope Lutheran Church yard sale committee and church council have decided to cancel the yard sale this year.

The Hope Lutheran Church youth group will be holding a clothing drive Oct. 4-16.

Items can be dropped off in the storage container in the parking lot beginning Oct. 4.
