Marilyn Jane Boandl, 74, of Macungie, formerly of Whitehall, died June 25, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Rudy W. Boandl for 50 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Grace Hughes and raised by the late Frank and Marion (Koch) Ryba.

She was a 1963 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and later Allentown Business School.

She worked in data entry for the VNA of Lehigh Valley for many years.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Blue Church, Coopersburg. She was a member of the former St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Allentown, and served as secretary on church council.

She was a former secretary of Whitehall-Coplay Band Parents Association.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Cindy and her husband Russel Bass and Cathy and her husband Jason Bucher; five grandchildren, Amber and Colin Weaver, Hannah Bucher and Lizzy and Justin Bass; two sisters, Mary Ann Muraro and Dolores Mann; a brother, Francis Ryba; and 22 nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, George Ryba.
