The Salisbury Class of 2020 is finally getting their graduation, sort of.

At 9 p.m. July 22, the graduates and their families will gather at Becky’s Drive In in Walnutport for a screening of the virtual graduation video made in their honor.

Speeches have been recorded, along with music and pictures to celebrate this special Salisbury class. Due to social distancing, this event is by invitation only.

The clothing drive fundraiser the Salisbury Athletic Booster Club scheduled for Aug. 1 has had a change of date and location. It will now be held Oct. 3 at Salisbury High School. Items can be dropped off at the old gym entrance at SHS between 9 a.m. and noon. For a complete list of what items can be donated, visit www.clothingdrive.net.

Food Truck Thursday’s are back at the South Mall 4-8 p.m. Thursdays in the mall parking lot. The food trucks are there to satisfy your cravings. There are tacos, gyros, barbecue and burgers, along with ice cream and Kona Ice. Come on out, wear a mask and indulge in your favorite food truck delicacies.

For those of you planning events at Salisbury Township parks, be advised even though we are in the green stage, the park restrooms are still closed. There is at least one portable restroom at each park to be used by guests of the park.

Salisbury Township drop-off centers are open on alternating weeks. Franko is open the week of July 13, Devonshire the week of July 20. The centers are open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
