James W. Masteller, 85, of Allen Township and formerly of Bethlehem, died July 4, 2020. He was the husband of Betty (Ramberger) Masteller for 43 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Raymond and Emma (Souders) Masteller.

He worked for Bethlehem Steel for 34 years before retiring in 1986.

He was a former member of East Hills Moravian Church, Bethlehem.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Diane Rogan with Bill of Moore Township and Dale Masteller with Maria of Catasauqua; five stepchildren, Robin Forte and Jan Pazienza with Joseph, all of Florida, Jamie Brekus with Peter of Bethlehem, Robert Kvacky with Debbie of Fountain Hill and Joel Kvacky with Marsha of Moore Township; a sister, Jane McGough of Alabama; 12 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by three sisters; one brother; and two grandchildren, Caleb Dancho and John Forte.

Services will be private.
